Which is a better tool to clone Transit MK8 BCM?

OBDSTAR DC706 failed to connect tried with 3 different power supplies 5amp 14v and direct off the car battery, still didn’t connect… sorted the job with VVDI prog.
I read it with vvdi it was a secured mask XEDP512.
